“And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: and oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.” Zechariah 7:8-10 KJV

We must avoid approval and acceptance from the world. We must flee from wickedness.  We must be born again, and live godly, righteous, lives before the Lord.

The whole world lieth in wickedness.

IF you are truly born-again, and gloriously saved under the Blood of Christ; you can not lose your salvation, anymore than you can be un-born. You may back-slide, but you are still His. If you “got saved,” then recanted, you were never truly saved to begin with.  Like a person sitting on the fence of The Tabernacle, the false convert has jumped off the fence back into the world. That person did not enter properly, through The DOOR! 

It doesn’t matter what you or I think about Israel. Only the Word of God has any authority to speak on this issue.

We all tend to plan.  Nothing wrong with that!  The trouble, for believers, is when we rely on our plans over His plans. 

1. Every Christian must see themselves as Job saw himself.
2. If you at any point, think you are a “good person,” you are not saved.

1 Timothy 6:6-8 KJV

[6] But godliness with contentment is great gain.

[7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

[8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Only God is good! 

When we are broken, when we are sick, when we are suffering, that is when His glory manifests. As Paul sang in prison, so we as sojourners in this evil world, glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.  Count it all joy, beloveds.

When I think about what could have happened to me, if I had rejected the Gospel in 1979, I get teary eyed.  Perhaps I would have succumbed to some sinful behaviour.  Looking back, I, myself, was chief among sinners.

I am still exceedingly sinful.  After I play the piano, the thought “wow, that was good,” comes to my mind. So much pride. Thank God for His mercy, His Blood, His Justice. His Truth! 

Yes, I am a great sinner, covered by the Blood of a Great Saviour!

The Lord has showered me with many “talents.”  For decades, I exalted in the attention I received.  Glory to God in the highest, for breaking down my pride with arthritis.  It has caused me to grow closer to Him in every way!  🎹🎶🎼🎵

Joy, joy, joy…do we live joyfully?  We should, because every breath we draw is a gift from God.

It is a fact that we will be tempted during our earthly sojourn. It is also a fact that the Lord always leaves us a way out. Always.

There is no excuse for perversion in the pulpits.

Total submission to His Word is our goal.
