Sunday Scripture
Proverbs 6:6-11 KJV
[6] Go to the ant, thou sluggard; Consider her ways, and be wise:
[7] Which having no guide, Overseer, or ruler,
[8] Provideth her meat in the summer, And gathereth her food in the harvest.
[9] How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
[10] Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep:
[11] So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, And thy want as an armed man.

Saturday Scripture
Only You Lord, can give true peace and comfort.

Friday Scripture
Do we seek Him with our whole hearts? Really seek Him? Or do we go through the motions to make a good appearance?

Thursday Thoughts
Often I still try to control things. My pride rears up, and my will asserts itself. I must be like Job, and abhor myself…

Monday Musings
The lost are never satisfied, and chase after one thing or another, spending their lives pursuing satisfaction. Still. Always athirst. All the while, Satan will use every tool in his cunning arsenal, to cause lost souls to kill themselves before they can get saved.
Believers know what they thirst after. Living water.

Sunday Scripture

A lot of people out there saying you don’t need to repent. Repentance involves turning away from the god of this world, toward Jesus Christ.
Only believe…

Saturday Scripture

Wednesday Wisdom
Hubby was just praising me, telling some workmen how much money I save him by getting the best deals. On everything. Being prudent and thrifty is just one way that Christian ladies can honor their husbands.

Tuesday Truth
One of the best verses to commit to memory.

Monday Musings
If we are continually thanking and praising Him, there will be no room in our hearts for lust, greed, envy… it is a matter of being entirely filled. Not needing anything more beyond food, clothing, and shelter. And we find, the more we are filled with praise for our Saviour, the other stuff comes quite easily.

Saturday Scripture

Thursday Thoughts
You know, the peace that comes though faith in Christ is hard to explain to those who hold fast to their works. Prideful mankind will always want to add to their salvation.
One young man I knew, said he did not believe in the pre-trib rapture, “because we need to be punished.” He could not see that he was blaspheming our Lord Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross. Saying you can add to that, is putting yourself on His level!

Friday Scripture
Ephesians 5:1-5 KJV [1] Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
[2] and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
[3] But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
[4] neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
[5] For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Thursday Thoughts
This is a TRUE Proverb! If you are under The Blood, you will know that these two verses can be be put into practice and realized. Nothing at all to do with sending money to a TV evangelist! When you see God’s providence and provision in everything, even chastening, you will realize enormous blessings, and not all of them tangible.

Saturday Scripture
Not by Mary, not by religion, not by the Pope, not by works, not by anything or any other way. Jesus is the only way to eternity in glory.
Every single person born on this earth, has an eternal soul that will live forever. It is our choice where we will spend eternity.

Friday Facts
So many ministries cling to this earthly life. These are shallow, carnal Christians, who do not have their eyes on eternity.

Saturday Scripture
Matthew 8:20-22 KJV [20] And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. [21] And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. [22] But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Son-day Scripture
Mary is not our mother. She is our sister in Christ Jesus. She professed with her mouth that she needed a Saviour.

Saturday Scripture
No more temple, no more sacrifices, no more priests. Our Lord Jesus Christ is fully sufficient in every way.

Friday Scripture Study
This epistle causes a lot of friction among the brethren. All I can say is divide, divide, divide. James is addressed to the believing tribes of Israel, scattered abroad. We may still glean in this field.
Laying aside filthiness, and putting on meekness, is NOT A WORK! Not a work in the sense of earning salvation. It is the sanctification that should happen in every believer. We become more like Him, and less like ourselves. That is not a work, it is surrender…. more later.

Monday Musings
I often wonder how people can be oblivious to the work of the Creator. It is so obvious, the first chapter of Romans rubs our noses in it! Daily, some discovery is made in the sciences, that verify the Word of God. Yet they will not believe.
This is due to the fact that God has given them over. If we think about that, it helps us be at peace with the hard hearted. And at the same time, we must accept when He uses a sledge hammer on those hard hearts!

Saturday Scripture
Look at this passage carefully! All our Joel’s Army & Kingdom Now brethren should take note! This world is not our home, we are STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS, and nothing can change prophecy. Though this passage states that our merciful LORD does not act without compassion, it does say that we are…
prisoners of the earth…
Deep things of God, beloveds. Deep love, deep compassion, and very deep wisdom.
