Thursday Thoughts

Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV [18] Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. [19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Monday Musings

Do you fully grasp the doctrine of “son-ship?”

The “we are all God’s children” bunch fail to understand this important fact. Only true sons, born again under the Blood of Christ, qualify for the son title. When the Holy Spirit speaks through Solomon here, He addressing us.

The mystery of our relationship with the Godhead will never be understood by those who are without. The LORD uses family relationships to help us understand the deep things of God. The Truth really can set us free.

Israel is God’s!

Be very wary of any preacher, teacher, ministry, or pundit, that speaks or acts against Israel. In our frail human judgment and perspective,  we cannot possibly see God’s over-arching plan and vision. Only He can see the beginning from the end.  We must rightly divide the Word of Truth, and realize that God is  not done with Israel. Not by a long shot.

Monday musings …

Where we used to live, in Bloomfield Michigan, there was a beautiful complex, containing a Mormon Temple, complete with a gleaming statue of the angel “Moroni” on top, and, a Masonic temple in the same complex. What does that tell you?  LDS, or Mormonism is accursed according to Scripture.

Galatians 1:8-9 KJV [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

A devil named Moroni

The Adversary

Gleaned from my Bible study today, this passage, wherein Saul takes on the wicked Bar-Jesus.  It struck me that every single time, every single time, we attempt to lead someone to Christ, the Adversary will do everything in his power to prevent it.

Notice Saul does not avoid combat with the forces of darkness. He confronts it head on. If we were to boldly do what Saul did – imagine what would happen. The devils would cower in fear.

Just a few weeks ago, my husband and I were going to look at house we were interested in. The whole thing was strange and Holy Spirit driven, but I digress.  As we were sitting at a red light, waiting to turn, my husband, looking straight ahead, said “If they aren’t Christians I’m not putting in an offer on that house.”  I said “Really?”  And he said yes.

This particular kind of strength comes only from The Holy Ghost. As it did for Saul, and does for anyone who chooses to stand up for our Lord Jesus Christ. Even ladies at the quilting bee need to have this kind of fortitude.  Enough of tepid Christianity!

More on the house saga later…
