Revelation 3:15-17
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. . .
We are now presently living in the last church age, prophesied in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, to be the dominant church spirit in the period before the Rapture of the saints. Sometimes incorrectly called the apostate church, it is described by Christ as the lukewarm church – neither hot nor cold.
No one could argue that the church mood of today is tending towards prosperity and materialism, and away from doctrine. Rather than sin and repentance, the post modern, liberal shepherd of today, preaches self esteem and “having it all.”
This page will feature articles focusing on “Cotton Candy Christianity.” While we do not characterize this phenomenon as apostate – it is the forerunner of the truly apostate church that will welcome the rule of anti-Christ.
