Paul, the Rapture Fanatic!

PAUL, THE RAPTURE FANATIC!

I find that the Apostle Paul must’ve been as obsessed with the Rapture as much as I am. Why?

Well, let’s see……

Here are 33 different passages from just Paul himself, not even counting those of Peter, James, Jude, and John, that talk about the Rapture or some aspect thereof!!! Notice also that with the exception of Philemon, Paul mentions the Rapture in every single epistle and letter that he wrote!!!

Yes, I think about the Rapture everyday. It should be at least as important to us as it was to Paul, I would think.

  1. “Waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” Romans 8:23.
  2. “Waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1:7.

  4. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
    Ephesians 1:10-14.

  16. “The Lord is at hand.” Philippians 4:5.
  17. “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
